About Tailwind
Tailwind Placement Exams offers a comprehensive and successful placement testing program to the national higher education market. In partnership with UW's Center for Placement Testing and Castle Worldwide, Inc., a leading full-service testing solutions provider, Tailwind offers placement exams for university students in English, mathematics, French, German, and Spanish. The exam items are written by content experts in each of the corresponding disciplines under the guidance of the Center for Placement Testing's psychometric staff, and are subjected to statistical review to ensure that only high-quality items contribute to a student's score.
